Every aspect of commercial air travel is hellish.
Except the view.
I always choose a window seat.

you can see forever.

They say you become old when Christmas loses its magic. But the moment I realised I was old was when flying lost its magic. That moment when I was asked to remove my shoes in a public building and a big guy with a gun tried to dismantle my laptop, that was the moment I became old.

We’ll really be old when the big guy with the gun takes our shoes, our laptops and our walkers.

I used to be a window person, now I’m more of an aisle person. But your words and pictures took me back. Thanks for sharing, maybe I’ll choose a window seat the next time I fly somewhere!
